The barn itself was well-equipped for self-catering, with everything we needed for cooking our meals. the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep.
The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired, with insects in the bath and dust on the surfaces in the bathroom. We also found some frozen food left by previous guests, which was disappointing.

Had a fantastic Christmas stay at this countryside retreat! the barn was beautifully converted with character and stunning artwork. the bathroom facilities were great, and the owners were friendly and helpful. the location was perfect, surrounded by fields with footpaths for picturesque walks. Meeting the resident horses, dogs, and cats was an added bonus.
Only a couple of small things to mention. the lack of blinds on the front windows meant we had less privacy than we would have preferred.

The Thatched Barn in Thame was a delightful escape into the beautiful countryside. The peaceful surroundings and charming horse in the field behind us created a truly relaxing atmosphere. The barn itself was cozy and comfortable, with a great shower and a well-equipped kitchen for all our cooking needs. The hosts, Lora, and the friendly dog Honey made us feel welcome and were always available to assist us. Although the barn could use a bit of TLC in terms of cleanliness, it did not hinder our enjoyment of the stay. I would highly recommend this hidden gem for a tranquil getaway.
